We're looking for a Stores Operative to join our well established and respected client based in Leicester on a full-time, permanent basis. Due to the nature of our client's business, prior to starting there will be a vetting process and once this has been completed and successful, an immediate start will be expected.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £24,960 per annum
The Role:
As a Stores Operative you will be responsible for general stores management in accordance with procedures. Receiving goods inwards and preparing dispatches of goods outwards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitoring and logging all stock locations and movements into and out of all warehouses
· Ensuring First In First Out and lot control of all goods
· Ensure the use of GP to log and manage the movements of all stock
· Assist with performing and managing stock counts on a quarterly and incremental basis
· Preparation of equipment orders for customer replenishment.
· Packing of outgoing orders for collection by courier
· Maintaining accurate Shipment records on bespoke databases and GP
· Scanning In/Out of Customer Returns into our database.
· Maximising stock accuracy and business performance.
· Scanning out of new equipment being delivered to Customers on Sales Orders.
· Categorisation and segregation of product failures returned by customers.
· Maintain accurate records of delivery/despatch paperwork.
· Ensure that issued parts have been inspected to the Sampling Plan and delivered to the required Quality Standards.
Your Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this role, you will have experience with a similar Stores Operator role within a manufacturing environment. Additional skills required include:
· Competent with MS Excel & Word.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Meticulous and accurate worker.
· Strong team player.
· Fork Lift Truck License.
