Job Title: Stores Operative (SAP Experience Required)

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary for a minimum of 1 month

Salary: £12.70 up to £13.20 per hour dependent on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, receiving and dispatching goods, and ensuring the smooth operation of the stores function. SAP experience is essential, as the role involves frequent use of SAP for stock control, order processing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods using SAP
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production and dispatch
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and carry out regular stock counts
  • Use SAP to update stock movements, generate reports, and issue materials
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and in line with health & safety regulations
  • Liaise with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role
  • Proficiency in SAP (materials management or similar module)
  • Strong understanding of stock control and inventory management
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Physically fit and able to lift/move stock as required

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm
