Stores Person - Join Our Team!
Based in Immingham
£12.70 per hour (to increase in April)
Mon - Fri 7am - 1pm
Are you organised, reliable and passionate about maintaining high standards? We're looking for a Stores Person to support our operations by ensuring all stock, deliveries and storage areas are managed safely, accurately and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Key Responsibilities
As a Stores Person, you will:
- Receive deliveries, check quality, verify delivery details and complete temperature checks to meet company standards.
- Store all items in the correct designated areas, following effective stock rotation procedures.
- Follow safe manual handling techniques and use trolleys and equipment as required.
- Work in line with SLAs, following instructions from your line manager.
- Provide a friendly, efficient service to clients, stakeholders and customers across all departments.
- Complete all required documentation accurately to meet company and industry regulations.
- Maintain clear and positive communication with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
- Carry out general duties to ensure production areas and equipment meet Company standards.
- Participate in any job‑related training to support your development.
- Report all accidents and near misses in line with Health & Safety protocols.
- Wear the correct uniform and PPE at all times.
- Ensure preparation, production and presentation methods follow company procedures.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, COSHH, Cook Chill and hygiene regulations.
- Use equipment safely, reporting any faults immediately and removing unsafe items from use.
- Attend safety awareness courses and staff safety forums as required.
- Accurately complete all check sheets and operational documentation.
