Temporary Receptionist - holiday cover

Location: Maldon, Essex

Dates: 6th May - 16th May 2025 (applicants must be available for the full duration)

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Free on-site parking available

We are looking for a friendly and professional Temporary Receptionist to provide cover at our clients office in Maldon. This short-term position is ideal for someone with previous front desk or administrative experience who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and callers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
• Taking and passing on accurate messages
• Greeting and signing in visitors
• Booking courier collections online (DHL, FedEx)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a reception or front-of-house role
• Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills
• Comfortable using online courier booking systems
• Reliable and punctual
