Transport Coordinator - Teesside

We are actively seeking experienced professionals in road freight forwarding with a passion for end-to-end logistics to join our team.

Job Description

As a Freight Forwarder, you will play a key role in our European Freight Branch, managing critical logistics operations, including:

• Import & Export Management - Handling freight bookings, pricing, quotations, shipping coordination, and customs documentation.
• Transportation Coordination - Overseeing booking confirmations, bills of lading, and loading documentation. Arranging carrier nominations (hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, GSAs) to meet customer requirements and OTIF targets.
• Customs Compliance - Preparing essential documents such as ISF, COO, and clearance documentation for seamless international transit.
• Operational Optimisation - Conducting customer rate analyses, managing route guidance, and enhancing efficiency.
• Client Relationship Management - Building strong partnerships through excellent customer service and tailored logistics solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Transport Coordinator with:

• 2+ year's experience in road freight forwarding, covering both import and export.
• Expertise in pricing & quotations - Strong knowledge of customer delivery planning across transport modes.
• Customs & Compliance Knowledge (desirable) - Familiarity with regulations and documentation.
• Customer-Centric Approach - A commitment to delivering high-quality service and solutions.
