Tug Driver Immediate Start Available

Location: Immingham, Lincolnshire

Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights & Weekends)

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Tug Driver to join a busy and growing port and logistics operation in Immingham. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for hands-on work, long-term stability, and career progression within the logistics, transport, and distribution sector.

As a Tug Driver / Yard Operative / Shunter Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient movement of trailers and units across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely manoeuvre and transport trailers using a tug unit within a busy yard environment
• Support loading and unloading operations where required
• Work collaboratively with yard teams, supervisors, and logistics staff
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly
• Ensure all activities comply with health & safety regulations and site procedures
• Maintain efficiency in a fast-paced port and distribution environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Tug Driver, HGV Driver, Shunter Driver, or Yard Operative (preferred but not essential - training provided)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Strong awareness of health & safety in a logistics or industrial setting
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active role
• Flexible to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends
