Van Driver

We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Van Driver to join our team based in Lockerbie, to complete daily deliveries. You'll be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing a friendly and professional service to customers

Hours

• Monday to Friday,
• 5.45am start
• Finish when the route is complete - (average 8 hours per day)

Type: Full-time

Location: Lockerbie

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out daily deliveries

* Load and unload goods safely, using appropriate equipment where required

* Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects

* Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules

* Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point

* Maintain accurate delivery notes and paperwork

* Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and road‑safe at all times

What We're Looking For

* Full UK driving licence held for no less than 2 years

* Previous van‑driving is beneficial but not essential

* No more than 6 points on your licence

* Good physical fitness - some manual handling involved

* Strong time‑management and reliability

* Positive, customer‑focused attitude

* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Pay

* £12.71 per hour basic rate

* £1.02 bonus per hour worked paid weekly which is achieved through attendance, scanning rate and driving performance i.e. no speeding, use of mobile phone etc.
