FLT warehouse operative

Working in partnership with a paint manufacturer company located in HU2 to carry out the duties or a warehouse operative, you will be making paints, dealing with chemicals and using Counterbalance forklift. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, with a starting salary paid at an £11.70 per hour with overtime available paid at premium rates, temp to perm opportunity

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID COUNTERBALANCE FORK LIFT LICENSE

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday, rotating

Shifts Patterns: 08:00 - 16:30 with an early finish on a Friday

Overtime after 37.5 hrs. First 6 hours are paid at a time and a quarter, after 6 hours you'll be paid at time and a half.

Factory Operative positions will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to obtain permanent employment.

Job description

• 30% FLT and 70% warehousing / paint making
• Loading and unloading , manual up to 20kgs,
• To correctly record and use materials.
• To ensure correct stock accuracy.
• To carry out all inspection to the relevant schedules, to comply with specifications.
• To be responsible of the completion of all relevant documentation, to comply with ISO standards.
• To work to Health & Safety procedures and report near misses.
• To continually improve housekeeping standards, to meet GMP.
• Dealing with chemicals, it is a messy position working with paint
