About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator who is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese). This temporary, part-time role will support warehouse operations by managing inventory records, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth communication between the warehouse team and suppliers, including Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and proper documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Process and verify purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Assist in stock control and cycle counts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the warehouse team, including scheduling and reporting.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies or shipment delays.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse administration or logistics role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse management software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of import/export procedures and supply chain management is a plus.
