Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Working in partnership with an EMI-Award Winning plastic fabrication company located in HU7 we are recruiting an experience Counterbalance Forklift Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, paid at £13.52 on days and £14.52 on nights with overtime available paid at premium rates.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT LICENSE

Shift pattern / Working hours

3 shift rotation - YOU MUST BE ALL TO WORK ALL SHIFTS

Shifts Patterns: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am

Counterbalance Forklift Driver positions will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to obtain permanent employment.

Job description

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver you will be responsible for carrying out forklift driving duties in a busy warehouse. The role will be 50% forklift driving and 50% warehousing. Day to day you will be expected to;

· Loading and unloading both manually and using a forklift

· Ensure stock is safely transported and manoeuvred around the factory as required

· Correctly record and use materials and ensure correct stock accuracy

· Carry out all inspections to the relevant schedules, to comply with specifications

· Be responsible for the completion of all relevant documentation, to comply with ISO standards.

· To work to Health & Safety procedures and report near misses.

· To continually improve housekeeping standards, to meet GMP.

The successful candidate

To be successful for the position of Counterbalance Forklift Driver;

· You MUST have a valid Counterbalance Forklift License

· You MUST have at least 1 year on the job experience driving a Counterbalance Forklift

· Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.

· Reliable with good timekeeping.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
