Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Huddersfield

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

My client, a well-established and reputable company based in Huddersfield, is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence to join their growing team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering long-term stability, excellent working conditions, and the chance to work for a fantastic employer.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver, your duties will include:

  • Working with chemical products
  • Safe handling, storage, and movement of chemicals in line with health & safety procedures
  • Operating a Counterbalance FLT
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Palletising goods
  • Stock put-away and warehouse organisation
  • Manual handling and lifting of products
  • General warehouse and labouring duties as required

Requirements:

  • Valid RTITB FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Proven experience working with chemical products (essential)
  • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekly rotating shifts:
    • 5:00am - 1:00pm
    • 12:00pm - 8:00pm
