Warehouse Handling Operative

Location: Dornock, Annan
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm
Contract: Temp, Temp to Perm
Pay Frequency: Weekly

We are currently recruiting operatives to assist in a busy abattoir in Dornock.

This is a physically demanding role within a busy slaughterhouse environment, requiring candidates to be comfortable with manual handling duties and the nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual lifting and handling of carcasses and meat products
• Moving products throughout the production facility
• Loading and unloading equipment, trolleys and racks
• Assisting with production processes as required
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping
• Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Comfortable working within a slaughterhouse environment
• Physically fit and able to carry out repetitive lifting and handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
