Job Advert: Warehouse Operative
Location: Dinnington
Hours: 19 hours per week (Monday - Thursday: 4 hours per day, Friday: 3 hours)
Rate of Pay: £14 per hour
Start Times: Flexible, but must be consistent each day

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Dinnington. As an aerospace industry supplier, you'll play a key role in supporting warehouse activities and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. You'll be responsible for receiving, picking, packing, inspecting, and shipping goods, while maintaining accurate data records. Full training will be provided, so previous warehouse experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of warehouse activity, including receiving, picking, packing, inspection, and shipping goods.
• Accurately input data into the company computer system and Excel spreadsheets, with a focus on precision due to the nature of our aerospace industry.
• Pack, label, and prepare goods for shipment, ensuring all associated paperwork is completed.
• Handle export data and book shipments through carrier portals.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Process UK sales orders and carry out general system work and housekeeping tasks as required.

Physical Demands:

• Lift and carry up to 20-50 lbs.
• Push/pull items ranging from 0-50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach as required in a busy warehouse environment.
• Gripping, fine finger movements, and visual checks for quality control.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment, with clear hearing and vision essential.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is not required; full training will be provided.
• Basic computer and literacy skills are essential.
• Flexibility with start times, but consistency in daily schedule is necessary.
