WASTE OPERATIVE
Working in partnership with our client, we are recruiting reliable and hardworking Waste Operatives to work from their site based in North Cave. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking full - time, ongoing work within a well - established and growing operation.
Please note: This role is based within a waste processing environment. This site can be dirty, muddy, dusty and there are strong odours. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions daily.
Shift pattern/ Working hours:
4 on / 4 off shift pattern 12 - hour shifts
Start date / Duration
The Waste Operative position will commence as soon as possible. This is an ongoing role offering consistent, long-term work.
Job Description
We are seeking dependable and physically fit Waste Operatives to work within a busy processing site. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment where health and safety is a priority. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, supporting the processing and sorting of waste materials. There may also be additional ad hoc yard duties as required.
Responsibilities:
* Sorting and separating waste materials safely and efficiently
* Working on picking lines to remove recyclable materials
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials
* Keeping work areas as clean and safe as possible
* Following strict health & safety procedures at all times
* Supporting other site operations when required
