WASTE OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with council owned recycling centres within Carnaby and we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Waste Operatives fair pay (£11.44 per hour)

Location

We are ideally looking for people that have their own transport and would be willing to commute to Carnaby. Being flexible will open a wider opportunity for you to secure more work.

Shift pattern / Working hours

9:45am-5:15pm

This client operates on an ad hoc basis as requirements are confirmed on a weekly basis.

Start date / Duration

Waste Operative positions will commence with immediate effect.

Job description

· Waste Operatives are responsible carrying out work that can be physically demanding.

· Dealing with the public.

· Directing the public to the right areas to dispose of their waste correctly.

· You must adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.

· Lifting and loading.

· General housekeeping duties.

The successful candidate:

· Previous experience working as a labourer or Waste Operative is ideal but is not essential.

· Reliable with good timekeeping.

· Happy to speak to the public in a polite and helpful manner.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.42 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
