What is the job of a Weighbridge Operator?

Working as a weighbridge operator within a small team to ensure the smooth running of operations, opportunity for permanent role for the right candidate.

  • Operating the weighbridge to ensure all goods in and out are recorded
  • Conducting stock takes
  • Updating SAP system
  • Using Microsoft package such as Outlook, Excel and Teams
  • The working both in an office and within a yard environment
  • Conducting vehicle inspections
  • Rotational shift pattern of 06.00 - 14.00 and 14.00 - 22:00

What experience do you need to be a Weighbridge Operator?

A weighbridge operator is an essential role to ensure the smooth operation of goods coming in and out of the site, it requires a good attention to detail and team player

  • Good administrative experience and confident IT Skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable such as Weighbridge Operator, Weighbridge Administrator, Stock Controller, Warehouse Administrator, Goods In operator is highly desirable but not essential as training will be provided
  • Confident working outdoors
  • High level of detail to ensure accurate reporting
  • Team player keen to learn new skills
