What is the job role of a Welder/Fabricator?

We are seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to join a well established business looking to expand there workforce. You will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, and repair of metal structures and equipment used in Port Operations, including docks,cranes,vessels,and cargo handling machinery

This role involves working with a variety of metals and welding techniques in both workshops and on site.

What do you need to be successful as a Welder/Fabricator?

  • Proven experience in Welding and Fabrication
  • Previous experience with Mig and Tig and Stick Welding
  • NVQ Level 3 in welding and fabrication
  • Previous experience in plant machinery, marine infrastructures and vessel maintenance
  • Sheet metal experience
  • Previous experience in MMA
