The Job Role:

  • Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Utilise power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to perform tasks effectively.
  • Work with sheet metal to create precise shapes and structures.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency in the fabrication process.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Proven experience in fabrication and welding is essential.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment is required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Previous experience with Mig & Tig is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.

  • NVQ Level 3 Welding or Plating (Desirable not essential)
