JOB ROLE:

  • Utilise machinery to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications.
  • Perform quality MMA and MAG welding to ensure strong and precise joints.
  • Interpret technical drawings to guide fabrication processes.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards.
  • Apply basic math skills to measure and cut materials accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency in the fabrication shop.

What do you need to be a successful Welder/Fabricator:

  • Experience in MMA/MAG/TIG/LASER
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings
  • Basic math skills
  • Health and Safety conscious
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A relevant welding/fabrication certificate NVQ Level 2/3
