Job Profilefabricating and welding is part of the manufacturing process for the production of component parts which includes the use of a variety of equipment classified as industrial tools and machinery
Job description summaryTo work on the production team of the main factory, fabricating and welding component parts to high specification
Minimum qualifications/skills requiredPrevious qualification, knowledge and training in MIG welding techniques to satisfactory BS EN9060 standards
previous knowledge/skills in production line manufacturing environment
Ability to read and work to complex engineering drawings
Familiar with good health and safety practices ( safety standards training)
Quality control checks and documenting process
Preferred Qualifications2 years previous experience in machine/ welding work shop
Computer skills requiredN/A
Essential functions/Duties
1Experience setting parameters and operating industrial MIG welding equipment
2Experience with the use of metal working tools and equipment (Weld sets, wire feed, grinder, welding tools and consumables)
3Preparing weld area, familiar with welds requirements and dress off
